Why train with Build A Body Personal Training?

Build A Body offers private, one-on-one training sessions in a clean environment with various equipment modalities. You will learn proper exercise form and techniques to help you safely reach (and even exceed) your individual fitness goals.

How does Build A Body differ from other gyms?

It's like having your own gym! Only you and the trainer are in the studio at one time (come in your pajamas in the early morning or late evenings if you'd like)! No intimidation . . . no other people watching you work out. It’s private, one-on-one, and (believe it or not) fun!

What are the trainers' qualifications?

Every trainer at Build A Body Personal Training holds a current CPR/First Aid and national personal training certification. It’s unfortunate that in the industry today, anyone can call themselves a personal trainer and have no knowledge, experience, or education about proper training techniques. At Build A Body, our goal is to help you reach your goals safely with proper technique.

How many sessions do I have to purchase?

As many as you’d like - although we have a 3 session minimum (you actually get four sessions for the price of three because you receive a FREE fitness assessment including body composition, body fat, BMI, body measurements, body weight, and a one hour fitness assessment to evaluate your strength, balance, coordination, agility, flexibility, and endurance).

When can I train?

Whenever it is convenient! Typically, people train the same times and days every week with the same trainer, but we’ll find a mutually convenient time for you and your trainer.

How long do the sessions last?

One hour. We will typically warm up, stretch, exercise, then cool down and stretch.

What will I do during a training session?

We pride ourselves on variety while still focusing on your individual goals. Most sessions include either a full-body workout or split training session along with cardiovascular training, but we keep in mind your goals for coordination, balance, endurance, strength, mass, weight loss, etc. Remember, we base your training program on your individual fitness goals so we’ll incorporate exercises to help you achieve what you want to achieve. You’ll do a different training session every time you train!

What types of equipment will I use?

You name it! We have a variety of equipment modalities to challenge your body – free weights, selectorized equipment, bands, tubing, BodyBars, Bosu balance trainers, medicine balls, stability balls, balance pods, etc.

What are the costs?

We have a sliding scale which means the more sessions you purchase, the lower your rate per session. Please contact us for more details.

Are gift certificates available?

Yes! Think of us for your loved ones’ birthdays or holidays.

How do I sign up?

Just contact us at 330-361-9199 or e-mail us at buildabodypt@aol.com. We offer a free initial orientation so you can visit the studio, view our portfolio, "pick our brains," and determine if what we have to offer fits your needs.

Group Training and Team Training

Build A Body Personal Training also offers group training and team training. Training can be held at corporate offices, local gyms, schools, etc. Please contact us for group training prices and locations.

We offer a variety of corporate classes ranging from yoga and flexibility to boot camp and general strength/cardiovascular training.
